School Regulations
JHS GIS 3 Yogyakarta

Some of the regulations that apply in the SMP Global Islamic School 3 Yogyakarta (JHS GIS 3 Yogyakarta) environment are as follows:

Students Attendance

Student attendance on time is very important for the learning process. We hope that your child will be present at school 10 minutes before 07.30 WIB. The lateness of students in attending school has a detrimental negative impact because repeated lateness results in reduced learning rights for students on that day. About this attendance, parents are asked to pay attention to the following:

  1. Students need to attend and go home/be picked up on time, to monitor their development and safety.
  2. Schedules of activities outside of school, such as family events or vacations need to be made by paying attention to the schedule of activities at school or adjusting to school holidays.
  3. If there is something very important and urgent that students must go home early, parents/guardians should come to school to ask permission and pick them up. To avoid unwanted things, the school does not allow students to go home early based on verbal information by telephone and without a pick-up person.
  4. If there is something that causes students to be unable to attend school (sick/permission), parents should contact the school (class advisor) by attaching a letter/electronic letter (email) requesting permission to the class advisor no later than 07.30 am (students in grades VII and VIII) and 07.00 (students in grade IX). If it cannot be done on that day, then on that day it is sufficient to call/SMS and the next day it will be followed up with a letter/electronic letter. The class advisor's email address is attached to the teacher data.
