Saat itu, tidak ada seragam terlihat di lingkungan JHS. Sejauh mata memandang, yang tampak justru siswa-siswi dalam balutan kostum-kostum unik dan cantik, mulai dari dokter, wanita Jawa, Harry Potter, berbagai karakter <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">princess<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, sampai ikan hiu.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Warna-warni kostum para siswa menjadi penanda terselenggaranya kegiatan Book Parade 2025. Kegiatan tersebut telah sukses terlaksana pada hari Jumat, 31 Oktober 2025 pukul 07.30\u201310.00 WIB.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Dengan langkah anggun dan mantap, mereka memasuki Aula JHS. Tangan-tangan mereka menggenggam erat sebuah buku. Ada yang membawa buku lokal, seperti novel <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Hujan <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selena <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">karya Tere Liye. Mereka terbiasa melakukan aktivitas literasi dengan membaca buku setiap hari Jumat. Rutinitas tersebut menjadi satu langkah yang baik untuk membangun kebiasaan gemar membaca di kalangan siswa.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Namun, pada dasarnya, literasi memiliki tujuan yang lebih dalam daripada sekadar membiasakan siswa membaca buku. Aktivitas tersebut berkaitan erat dengan pemahaman siswa terhadap apa yang dibaca.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Melakukan literasi secara rutin bisa membantu siswa meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, analisis informasi, dan berbahasa. Selain itu, wawasan siswa bisa semakin luas dan kaya seiring dengan banyaknya buku yang mereka baca. Bukan literasi dengan membaca buku seperti biasanya, mereka diminta untuk menceritakan isi buku. Supaya suasana semakin seru dan menyenangkan, para siswa diajak mengekspresikan diri melalui busana dengan mengenakan pakaian menyerupai salah satu karakter buku yang dibaca.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Berbalut kostum pilihannya masing-masing, satu per satu siswa maju untuk memperkenalkan tokoh yang mereka perankan. Tak lupa, mereka memamerkan buku yang dibaca, tempat kisah sang tokoh berasal.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Membahas buku rasanya tidak lengkap jika tidak disertai dengan penyampaian sinopsis dan nilai-nilai yang terkandung di dalamnya. Dengan antusias dan semangat, para siswa menyampaikan ringkasan kisah dan nilai apa saja yang mereka petik dari buku.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Setelah seluruh siswa menyajikan ceritanya, kegiatan Book Parade 2025 ditutup dengan pentas musik yang ditampilkan oleh siswa JHS itu sendiri. Book Parade 2025 menjadi cara baru bagi siswa untuk belajar dengan cara yang menghibur. Melalui kegiatan semacam ini, siswa dapat rehat sejenak dari aktivitas belajar di kelas yang sering kali monoton dan membosankan.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Di samping itu, berbagi cerita di depan umum juga melatih keberanian dan kemampuan <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">public speaking <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">setiap siswa. Kegiatan ini menjelma menjadi media bagi mereka untuk mengekspresikan dan membangun kepercayaan diri, serta belajar menyampaikan peristiwa secara jelas dan menarik.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Book Parade 2025 menjadi wadah bagi GIS 3 Jogja untuk menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, inovatif, kreatif, efektif, dan menyenangkan sebagai aktualisasi Pilar Akademik GIS. Hal ini menunjukkan kuatnya komitmen GIS 3 Jogja untuk mencetak generasi penerus yang unggul dan terampil.
