Secara keseluruhan, ada 29 siswa yang berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan ini.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Book Report 2025 adalah program literasi bahasa Inggris yang diselenggarakan setiap tahun untuk siswa kelas 8. Secara umum, Book Report meminta siswa mempresentasikan isi buku yang sudah dipilih dan dibaca.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Program ini merupakan perpanjangan dari program literasi yang secara rutin dilaksanakan oleh siswa-siswi JHS GIS 3 Jogja. Jadi, setiap tahapnya dapat dinikmati dan bermanfaat bagi siswa. Perjalanan panjang Book Report 2025 dimulai dari paruh kedua bulan Juli 2025, empat bulan sebelum hari pelaksanaan.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Sebagai awalan, para siswa diminta memilih dan mengajukan judul buku atau novel yang ingin mereka presentasikan. Judul buku yang diajukan harus disetujui oleh guru sebelum siswa bisa melanjutkan ke tahap selanjutnya.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Satu bulan berikutnya, siswa diberi waktu untuk membaca buku pilihannya sampai selesai. Setiap siswa harus menceritakan isi buku yang dibacanya ketika nama mereka dipanggil. Tahapan ini meliputi penulisan <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">resensi, pembuatan PowerPoint, dan latihan presentasi. Proses ini semakin memantapkan persiapan siswa, membuat mereka lebih percaya diri saat tampil.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jumat, 21 November 2025, hari yang ditunggu pun tiba. Para siswa berkumpul di ruang kelas lantai 2, secara bergiliran memaparkan cerita isi bukunya di hadapan dewan penguji. Meski dengan hati yang berdegup kencang, para siswa tetap mantap melangkah ke depan dan menunjukkan keberaniannya.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Latihan konsisten, ditambah bimbingan penuh dari guru, sukses membuat siswa semakin percaya diri untuk menunjukkan kemampuan terbaiknya. S<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ecara umum, membaca memiliki segudang manfaat, seperti meningkatkan kinerja otak, pengetahuan, dan daya ingat.\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Selain membudayakan kebiasaan literasi, Book Report 2025 yang diselenggarakan GIS 3 Jogja juga melatih kemampuan siswa dalam berbahasa Inggris karena buku yang dibaca maupun presentasinya disajikan dalam bahasa Inggris. Ini menjadi satu perwujudan GIS 3 Jogja dalam menjalankan Pilar Keglobalan yang dianutnya.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Melalui Book Report 2025, GIS 3 Jogja menaruh harapan besar agar siswa bisa semakin percaya diri, terutama dalam hal kepenulisan dan presentasi.
